Exploring History 10 Facts At a Time.

“The History 10s” is a podcast that seeks to avoid the long and epic stories of history that can take hours, days, and even weeks to even scratch the surface on. As a result, “The History 10s” is a podcast that provides a ‘quick dive’ into the waters of history where you nevertheless still get a great and immersive experience.

In each episode, host Andrew Baldwin selects a unique and random topic that could have easily been drawn from the spinning of a roulette wheel (animals, alcohol, weather, sports, and aliens) and then tells 10 short historical stories based around that central topic. 10 animals that changed world history. 10 times alcohol played a role in deciding a war. 10 weather events that affected events of the 17th century. The list is endless and always borders on the extremely odd. Like his inspiration Mr. Dan Carlin, Andrew approaches the subject matter as a ‘fan of history’ while at the same time creating an exciting and interesting atmosphere to pique anyone’s historical interest.

Andrew Baldwin is both a voiceover artist and a fan of history. Motivated by history podcasters like Daniele Bolelli and especially Dan Carlin, Andrew seeks to follow Mr. Carlin’s ‘Generation X, non-partisan, ‘neo-prudentist’ outlook’ in reading, interpreting, and relating the stories from the history books.
